About this estimate
Grey market premium (GMP) is the unofficial premium at which IPO shares trade before listing. We publish one estimate per IPO with a confidence label. After each listing we compare our last pre-listing estimate with the actual price and add it to our track record. We never edit a past estimate.

What is IPO GMP?
GMP (grey market premium) is the price above the issue price at which an IPO's shares are informally traded before they list. It is not an exchange price and nobody regulates it.
What does the confidence label mean?
It shows how settled the grey-market quotes for the IPO are. High means the quotes are consistent; Low means they are thin or far apart. It is not a view on the IPO.
Is the estimated listing price the price the share will list at?
No. It is the upper price band plus our GMP estimate, so it is only what the grey market implies today. Actual listing prices often differ, sometimes by a lot. Our track record shows how far off we have been.
How often is this page updated?
Every 30 minutes. Each page shows the time of the last update in IST.
Do you tell people which IPOs to apply for?
No. We publish an estimate and our record of how accurate it has been. We do not give apply or avoid calls.
